mimi van aislin!i came here to make you dance tonight i don't care about my guilty pleasure for you shut up cause we won't stop and we're getting down till the sun's coming up---------------------------------------------------------
» Mimi stifled a yawn as she looked around the kitchen, hearing her aunt babble on with the interior decorator she had over, talking about redoing the living room of their decently sized condo. She'd gotten a huge bonus from her company, and had decided she was going to use part of that money to redo their entire living room. Sure, it was in need of a little tlc, but other than that, mimi had no problem with it, not really. She would've preferred to take the money and get some new clothes, considering that the other girls were starting to look at her funny for wearing the same clothes almost every other week or so. It wasn't that mimi even cared about them, because her clothes were from the same designers as them, but life would be so much easier if she didn't have to argue with the girls in her grade, and try to keep them from finding out that she was pretty much one of the poorer seniors. She knew they were all shallow enough to use that as a way to pick on her, even if she was friends with the queen bee, stella. Right now, mimi had kinda made her standing as an alpha as well, although she downplayed it. Stella could have the limelight, she was just happy to have friends and the occasional gossip. Except nothing was that simple, and somehow people always seemed to be more interested in her life than their own. She shook her head at this, breaking her train of thoughts and bringing her back to the kitchen where she was currently sitting.
» Finally she pushed herself off the stool she was on, feeling her feet hit the cold linoleum beneath her, but warm with her pajama pants gathered in a heap at her feet. They were too long for her, but they were so comfortable, and reminded her of home. They had been her brothers, but she'd stolen them and hadn't given them back ever since. They were just so comfortable to fall asleep in, and they reminded her of the brother who lived so far away, back home in new york. Her sibling bond with him was even tighter because of them being twins, so this was really hard for her, being in another country from him. She sighed at the thought, shuffling from the kitchen and into the living room in time to see the interior decorator leave and her aunt turn to look at her. "Hey ... I was wondering if, well ... if it's not too much trouble ... can I go shopping?" Her tone was hopeful, and her blue eyes were wide in anticipation. She watched her aunt look around carefully before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a wad of cash. She selected a few bills from it and handed it over to her. Mimi grinned and threw her arms around her current guardian, hugging her tightly and causing both of them to laugh. She let go, running off to go change into something she could be seen in. Only the one day she forgot to look good, would someone see her and spread it as gossip. She glanced at the cash in her hand, gaping as she realized that she was holding five hundred quid. Wow, today was going to be good.
» Half an hour later, mimi was walking out of her house, her blonde locks pulled back into a high ponytail, mascara and eyeliner slicked on, wearing a pair of tight jeans tucked into her dark black uggs, a black coat resting over her tight blue tshirt, looking as good as she always did. Of course, the outfit looked cheap and chic, but of course the clothes were from the top designers. She hadn't grown since her mom had bought all these expensive clothes for her, and so she could use them, and not worry about not looking the part of the rich girl everyone thought she was. She walked down through the lush garden that surrounded her house and down to the street, signaling a cab from the sidewalk. She was gonna go shopping soon, but she wanted to go to the park first. She loved feeding the ducks in the pond, and as dorky as it sounded, it was her place of complete sanity. With the instructions told to the driver, she leaned back in the seat, feeling the car shift and stop as it wound through the city, taking her to where she wanted to be. Too soon the car stopped, and mimi passed a few bills to the driver, hopping out, gracefully of course. She stepped up onto the sidewalk, entering the park without a second glance to anyone around her, blue eyes bright as she made her way to the duck pond, finding her usual bench and sitting down, relaxing in the gentle sun that was a bit unusual for this time of year. See, place of sanity.

dexter edvard morissey, when it's so easy to disconnect mine Normally Mister Dexter Morissey didn’t hate working at his father’s office, he loathed it. And today was no different. Dexter hates his father period and working with him AND living with him, is pure hell, but what can you do as a spoiled rich boy whose father wants him to learn the value of a dollar? Simple, you work for him and still get spoiled. Though Dexter got the cold shoulder from a lot of his father’s workers. Most kissed his ass, but others – behind his father’s back – were complete asses to him. Or snubbed him. Dexter didn’t really mind though, he was just shitter to them and often got them fired. So lately people have been angels to him, at least after he got his father’s assistant manager fired for calling Dexter a spoiled little boy. That proved to everyone that he was spoiled and that if they were shits to him he’d get them fired. Everyone who was being shits to him stopped after that. But today was a shitty day for Dexter anyway. He was hung over from the night before and he had already been working for nine hours when his father gave him more papers to sort through. His head was killing him and he felt like he was going to pass out any moment. So he got up from his desk, flirted with some bitch and got her to do all the paper filing for him, then made out with her in the supply closet for about fifteen minutes before there was a knock and one of his father’s workers came in and interrupted them when Dex had been really close to actually getting into the girl’s pants. He glared at the guy and then the chick he’d been making out with left all embarrassed, he then asked his dad is he could go home and his dad gave him this stupid ass lecture about how if he wasn’t his father he wouldn’t act the way he did at work without getting fired and how if he wasn’t his father he wouldn’t be asking to get off early. Then after about ten minutes of getting lectured his dad let him leave.
Dexter packed up his stupid messenger bag brief case and then left the building that he wished he could leave forever and ever. He undid his tie as he walked over to his father/his limo. After the driver opened the door, he climbed in and then told him to drive him to Kensington Gardens. He felt like getting some air and he liked Kensington, even if it always seemed crowded. He liked the look of it and his nanny used to take him there all of the time when he was a little boy. He sat in the back of limo and drank another beer on his way to Kensington. He also smoked a joint with the window rolled down a bit so that Bert – the driver – wouldn’t smell it too much. Bert already knew that Dexter smoked and he didn’t care, Dexter treated him well enough that he didn’t tell his dad shit. He also tipped him really well. He flipped on the radio and rolled his eyes when one of those irritating rap songs filled the back of the limo. He then popped in an Elliott Smith cd and leaned back as he enjoyed some smooth music and a smooth joint.
The car stopped a couple of moments later. Dexter was snoozing slightly when the door opened and light shone on his face. He squinted his eyes and winced slightly and hears Bert’s gruff voice say, “Sorry.” He cleared his throat and nodded to Bert as he put his joint out and climbed out of the car. He looked quite disheveled and comfortable. His bright red tie was loose on his neck and his black jacket was big and warm. He still shivered in the cool London air though. He nodded at Bert and then slipped him a fifty, “I’ll be back in a bit.” His smooth voice floated carelessly out of his lips and graced the ears of Bert and anyone else around. A tiny accent showed through as well, after all he is an English man. He started down the pathway and just walked for a bit in his uncomfortable business shoes. He really should have changed his clothes, but then he would have had to go home and then go out again and he didn’t feel like doing that. He felt like walking to clear his headache. Though his head was already feeling better after that joint he’d smoked in the car. He pulled a packet of cigarettes out of his jacket’s inner pocket and lit it up while he walked through the park. He looked at the pond and all the pretty flowers, wishing he could crush the life out of those stupid little things that girl’s found so sweet and romantic. He rolled his eyes; sometimes women annoyed the shit out of him.
He continued further away from his limo and further into the park. Moved closer to the pond and saw a girl in a black jacket that looked really familiar. He smirked a devilish smirk and walked over to the blonde girl. He sat down next to her, smoothly and then looked over with a devilish smirk on his lovely lips, "Is it that cold out or are you just smuggling tic-tac's?" his voice was smooth and smug as he used a pick up line he’d once heard his father us on a hooker. He was of course teasing the girl, cause he couldn’t see her boobs anyway, her jacket covered them. He just wanted to creep he out before she knew that it was him talking to her. He liked to play with people and girls were definitely his favorite to play with. To be more particular, he loved to play with Mimi Van Aislin, a good friend of his that he was still trying to sack.

mimi van aislin! i came here to make you dance tonight i don't care about my guilty pleasure for you shut up cause we won't stop and we're getting down till the sun's coming up
» Her blue eyes closed as she soaked in the gentle sunlight, her hands tucked into the pockets of her jacket, keeping them away from the frosty air that settled around her. Over a year in britain and she still wasn't used to the cold weather. Even in new york, where it snowed often during the winter, it never felt as bitter and gross as it did here sometimes. It was often too windy and often too rainy, and mimi would never really enjoy it. The cold on it's own was fine, but put it with rain and wind and then she got rather bored of it. But the occasional moment of sunshine was so nice, it always seemed to make up for the long days without a glimpse of the sun. This was one of those days that mimi loved, the ones where the wind was barely blowing, and the clouds were nowhere to be found. This was the kinda weather that she could always enjoy, no matter the place. Sure, she had to wear a jacket and jeans and uggs, but she didn't mind. The sun on her skin was an enjoyable feeling, one that she'd never tire of, no matter how many days she felt it. Personally, it was nicer to have the sun during a cold day, than to have it all the time, and make everything hot. Why in god's name was she thinking so much about the weather? There were so many other things she could be thinking about, like what she'd get when she went shopping, but she really didn't care that much now. Her mind was always wandering, to some of the most random topics in the world, and often the most retarded. But that was mimi for you.
» Her moment of calm was interupted by someone's voice, a voice that made a very rude comment. Mimi didn't even bother to open her eyes, being able to know that voice a mile away, and knowing for a fact that her coat was zipped up too high for anyone to be able to see her tits. She rolled her eyes to herself, although it was an unseen maneuver considering her blue eyes were still closed. She blew out a soft breathe before speaking, her tone bland and rather unimpressed, "Go fuck yourself dexter, you ruined my moment. Not to mention I know that you can't see my tits, nor will you, ever." She opened her eyes on the last word, turning to look at him as to make her point more clear. As much as she loved the jackass, he was definately the lowest of the low, and seemed to be convinced he could get in her pants. But that was never going to happen, no matter how much he wanted it, mimi had some morals. There was no way she was going to sleep with a slimebag like dexter. Sure, with all those thoughts in her head, it was a little contradictory that she was still friends with him, but that seemed to be how it was with him. People were friends with him, because it was just easier than not being friends with him. Besides, mimi had a lot to hide, and if he got a whiff of it, he'd use it as blackmail to make her jump and do his little tricks. Thus, she just put up with his shit and just didn't let him get the best of her, it was easier that way.
» She blinked a couple of times to let her eyes adjust to the light outside before turning to look at dexter, raising one eyebrow in question as she spoke. "Wait, aren't you supposed to be at work with your dad? Don't tell me that daddy's little boy got fired?" She laughed, knowing that it couldn't happen. There was no way dexter's dad would let him get fired, nor would anyone try, what with dexter being the manipulative little bastard that he was. She bit the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing, knowing it would just be stupid. There was no reason to taunt him too much, she only did it because he started it for the most part. He seemed to like teasing her, except mimi knew better, and didn't quite rise to the bait unless he really pushed her buttons. Even then, she remained quite calm about it, although someone like stella could tell that she was really pissed off. It always weirded her out, how dexter got pleasure in making other people squirm and feel bad, but it had it's uses, like when people wronged her. She had a few memories of her making out with him to get her way, but she'd never let him get much farther than that. She had her morals, and sleeping with dexter edvard morissey was against those morals. She reached up to brush a strand of hair out of her eyes, glancing around the park before looking back at dexter, drumming her nails on the bench.
