you put yourself apart,
likes, smoking, playing the keyboard, boys, writing music, song lyrics, poetry, reading, watching movies, falling in love, watching the sun set/rise, falling asleep beneath the stars/on the beach/in general, hair, make-up, rain, partying, music, drinking - on occasion.
dislikes, insects, people who are "phony," fakes, people who try to be unintelligent, people who are incompetent, school - though she does the work, drugs, her father, her little twin brothers.
flaws, her father - major contributor to her shy personality, even though she does talk quite a bit. she really only has a handful of good friends that she can be herself around. because her father is abusive, it is difficult for her to adapt to new situations that involve/revolve around physical abuse.
secrets, her father being an abusive drunkard. her cousin's past. how she contributed to her sister's downfall of drugs and drinking. her brother's whereabouts.
personality, Lauren is not the quiet type around her really close friends, but every where else she is totally shy. In a group of close friends, she is rather loud, and loves to be that way. And that is when she is not drunk, because she does not drink all too often. She just naturally is a happy person. She makes friends rather easily, finding ways to talk to everyone about something and making ends meet when they do not agree. Lauren has a naturally bright smile on her face almost always, though she was hardly ever really that happy. But then again, everyone has something to hide one way or another. She was not going to let her past and present break her down in the future, so she lived life in accordance to parties, smoking, and drinking. But never mind all that, because she still excelled in her classes.
Lauren does not trust everyone, though. She trusts few people. The only person she would take a bullet for is her family, and a few of her really close friends who have been through everything with her. She learned this by watching her older siblings, both of which basically only trust each other. She has learned that through trusting everyone, you are screwing yourself over in the end. She was never to big on the trusting scene, and still is that way. Even with her family members. There are some things she just has not told anyone, for the pure fact that she would rather not be annoyed by it all. Sad, but the girl had her priorities, in her school work. So instead of creating mass amounts of drama and problems, she keeps herself intact with not telling anyone anything.
Lauren can be a hopeless romantic when she finds the person she knows is right for her. She knows how to treat them right, and only demands they do the same with her. They have to build up a lot of trust with Lauren, because she is a take no shit kind of girl. She is been hurt too many times in the past, particularly by her father. Her younger brothers never helped much with her relationships, or rather lack of. They were constant with their teasing about how she could never get a guy, though her older sister dragged home a new guy twice a month. Lauren was not in that scene, though, and did not believe in sleeping around. Which was why she was still a virgin, saving all of her virginity for that one special guy that will win her heart and get married to.
Though she is underage, Lauren is exactly like her brother, Devon, with the smoking, drinking, and partying. But she was never one to ever do drugs, and sleep around. That is not her field to play. He influenced her, anyways. He was a terrible influence, at that, because he brought all this drama within the borders of their home. After he took off, it caused a mass amount of problems with her father and all the children, because he thought that they all knew where he was, though truthfully none of them did. It was not until he called up Lauren and Roxanne, her older sister, and told them where he was. He made them promise never to tell, and so they are keeping it from their parents and their little brothers. What a horrible influential boy. He is turning Lauren into something she never thought she would be - a liar.
Lauren is extremely artistic. She would love to be to be a fashion designer. At least that is what she is striving to be. She enjoys sketching out outfits, but does not really enjoy colouring them. Usually she will mess it up so she really dislikes it. So she will just get her older sister to colour it for her. Now she is getting the hang of tracing her sketch through one sheet so then she has a good copy and the sketch. This way messing up was no problem. Lauren had always been an artist, ever since she was little. She always had extreme amounts of fun when painting and using her crayons, and developed a sense of colour matching and perfected her drawing skills to her liking over the years. Her drawing style changes constantly, but the result is usually a gorgeous one. She does not show off the work she believes to be "ugly."
Lauren is also a writer, making her very sensible and knowledgeable of others feelings. That is her fallback. If she does not make it into the fashion industry, then she plans on being something in the writing department. A journalist or novelist or something. She is a very deep thinker and incredibly smart, just in different areas. She does not really show her intelligence in the classroom, but she really defines herself through her class assignments. She is a better writer than she is a speaker. Lauren is pretty confident for a fifteen year old, but when it comes to talking in front of a class room full of people, she gets nervous. She always had a problem with performing, which was why the girl could never become a teacher. It involved too much presenting behaviour, with all the talking to a class full of students and all. She could never do that.

detailed history, Lauren is the third oldest child in her family. She was a younger sister to Devon Kristopher and Roxanne Chiara. Born after her was her twin brothers, Jace Aidan and Jayden Dallas. Lauren and her family lead a fairly normal life. Their cousin, Jayson Landon, moved in with them when he was three after his parents died in a fatal car accident when driving to the hospital to give birth to what was supposed to be their own little girl. They never made it to the hospital, and naturally they all died that night. It was a sad evening, and a terrible few years to follow, but they all managed to pull through, and made it to where they are now. In Britain.
When Devon was seventeen, he confided in Roxanne, who confided in Lauren. He told her how he was bisexual and addicted to drugs. He asked her to keep that from their parents. At the time she was fifteen and keeping that huge of a secret was hard, and so that is why she shared the load with Lauren, who was only thirteen. It was always hard for Lauren to lie. She had never been a good liar. But Roxanne said to her, "As long as they don't ask you, don't tell. You'll be fine." Lauren stuck with that philosophy, and lived by it, day by day. Still, she found it hard but she managed to keep her cool. Her parents never asked her, so she never had a reason to tell. Why was there so much worrying, then?
Later that evening, though, Roxanne told the family at dinner time. It was not right to keep that from her family. Roxanne regretted it, because it forced Devon into leaving, and she really hated that. She used to be so close to him, and now she had no idea where he even was. Lauren felt kind of bad, but then again, she was not the one that cracked under the pressure, Roxanne was. That night, Devon had left. It was hard on everyone, especially Roxanne because she had blabbed out the secret. Jayson was affected by it, because he, too, was bisexual - or at least he thought he was. This was hard, because now he had to go through all the emotional pains from his uncle Anthony by himself. Usually Devon stuck up for him. Lauren and her twin brothers were upset, yes, but at this point they had no real connection with their eldest brother.
Now after that incident, Lauren was feeling pretty bad. It was a terrible feeling she had inside of her and she had no way of dealing with it. She tried every way that she normally dealt with a problem. She tried writing songs, writing her feelings, listening to music, making clothes, sketching - none of it was working. There was still that empty void inside of her. Her tried to get in contact with Devon through emails, text messages, voice messages, phone calls - nothing worked. The boy simply never responded, never answered. And that hurt more than anything, because it was almost as though he did not care, which hurt everyone that much more. Everyone was upset but their father. He was simply furious.
Then she thought of what Devon did. He turned to drugs. That was not something Lauren was not willing to do. She did not want her life to be messed up like her brother's seemed to be. She did not want to be run out of her house, too. She would have no where to go. She also knew that Devon had no where to go, and that worried her a lot, too, because where would he have gone? They have no other family living. She did not want to get addicted and have to go to rehab. And so she ignored that lifestyle, unlike Roxanne, who dove into it like a kid into a ball pit. She watched as Roxanne started off the same way as Devon. With heroin. At first, she was alarmed to know that her sister was on drugs. Roxanne told Lauren, and made Lauren promise not to tell anyone. Lauren was good at keeping secrets, so maybe if she shut her mouth, she would not say anything.
Now that she is fifteen, she has moved to Britain with Roxanne. She is also attending Finchley Catholic School, only as a freshman. She had discovered that her brother also attends Finchley Catholic School. She managed to track him down and everything. She has yet to tell her parents of her older brother's whereabouts. And Roxanne this time has been able to keep her mouth shut.

Deep down, Andie knew that someone was needed for her to truly just focus on life in general. Because for her to be single, she was crazy and wild, and she just needed someone to keep her grounded. If it were up to her, she would never get attached to anyone, never get hitched, she would stick to being single, which seemed like most fun. But she she knew that eventually she was going to find someone. But she did not see that in Robbie - no, not at all. He was too much like her. Maybe that was what she needed, but currently she felt differently on that topic.
Robbie. The boy was just slightly more hard done by than herself, if not a lot more. Andie knew her past was not too bad. There was something that she saw in Robbie that she knew was just too hard to ever find out. He was not going to open up and she knew that. It would be nice if he would, and she would love to open up to him, too. But they were not that kind of friends. They were friends with benefits, and a maybe the friends part was not as stressed as the benefits part. She liked her benefits, though.
Before Andie stumbled upon Robbie, she was completely a goody good. She had stop drinking, smoking, sleeping around, doing drugs, staying out late... she stopped all that. And then suddenly, one of her first days back into a new city to symbolize her new start, and she meets Robbie, and then life was back to normal for her. She was back to old habits and that felt like the norm for her. She felt comfort in being who she used to be, not who her mother made her. It made her realize that the change was for the better, just not better for her.
So therefore, the old her was better. And back at her house a week ago, she realized the old her was who she should be. Not the make belief character that her mother made for her. No, not at all was that in the least fun. Andie's life revolved around fun. If there was not that element in each day, how was she living? She caused trouble in class, but the kind that was not noticeable until afterwards, like desk graffiti or gum on the floor, stuff like that.
Andie knew she had the boy wrapped around her finger. It was obvious as ever, even as he slid out of his zip up sweater. His fingers still rubbed along the top of her thigh, her own fingers massaging the skin on his firm biceps softly, unnoticeable. Andie knew what she was doing as she sat up, but it was exactly what she wanted. What girl did not want a guy looking down her top? Really. Plus, it was Robbie who was doing it. Robbie Kingston, of all guys. That was an ego booster in the most delicate of forms. Andie grinned curiously as his mouth pressed to her arm, shivering as his hand slid down her other arm, leaving her arms to erupt in goosebumps. Oh, divine.
Her lips carefully planted kisses all over his forehead, the only place she could reach from her kneeling position. And when this did not satisfy what she wanted, she carefully sat back into his lap, her kisses trailing down his face as she did. His forehead, his temple, his cheek - her kisses kept moving, and soon her lips were against his neck once again, her teeth working wonders on the soft skin.
