personality,
Keith is a quiet kind of person, he likes to sit back and watch things unfold, rather than get involved in them. He's super smart and likes people to know it too. He's rather cocky until he falls flat on his face, and is proved time and time again to not be as smart as he thinks he is.
He watches out for his sister, like he's her parents instead of her little brother. He's been there for her when she was drunk, and he's been there when she was broken hearted and had no one else to go to. In a way, he's the glue that keeps her from being ripped in a thousand different directions. He stops most arguments in the family from happening by making sure that the family barely sees each other, arranging dinners at different times etc.
He really runs the family from his bedroom, his super whiz-kid genious can be applied to watching the three members of his family and he gets the help of a maid that they hired, name Rosa. She's really the only woman he can talk to without totally putting his foot in his mouth.
Keith was forced to act older than he should, because of McKenzie's wild ways, but he doesn't blame her for it. He blames his parents for not getting her on a shorter leash earlier, and so now all he can do is hope that maybe one day his 'after school special' advice will get through McKenzie's thick skull and she'll smarten up just a bit.

detailed history, please make this detailed. describe everything about that's important in your character's past. it needs to be AT LEAST five paragraphs or longer. each one being at least 5-8 sentences long!
Keith was born to Richard and Rosmary Gray on January 15th at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. He was a quiet fellow from the beginning, and they assumed that Ailidh was loud enough for the two of them. As the two siblings grew older it was obvious that Keith would be the smarter of the two. But Keith never saw it that way, he always had the book smarts, and AIlidh always had the street smarts. She had the capacity to be book smart, she just didn't want to be. Keith graduated 8th grade with the highest marks of his class and he was at the top of the Honour Roll. His parents were thrilled and Ailidh actually said she was proud of him. Keith became more involved in McKenzie's plans and schemes to sneak away when she got caught for the 3rd time in one night and he finally just said to try the front door. Ever since then, Keith's protected his sisters secrets, her schemes and he's always kept a carefull eye on her.
show us what you're made of,
post an rp example of yours. it doesn't need to be new it can be one you used before. it should meet the word count requirement and it's preferred if it's wrapped in a quote box.
Keith scrolled down the page, his eyes scanning along the words a mile a minute. THere was a light knock at the door. "Keith, it's Kenzie." his sister called quietly through the door.
"Come in." he whispered back and she crept in.
"What're you doing kiddo?" McKenzie rested her hands on his head and read over the internet page he was on. "Phsyics, huh?" she smirked and turned back to his bed and flopped down on it. The bed made a slight groaning noise and she bounced a bit. She played with a hole in the duvea, simple and black as it were. "What is up with this cover dude? What happened to Superman and Spiderman and Doc Oc?" she laughed.
"I've never really been fantastic at comic book heros, but I'll just say that I've never had any of those figurines on my bed spread." Keith cleared his throat and pushed his glasses up further on his nose with his index finger. Down the hall they could hear the quiet creek of the master suite doors and knew that hteir parents were retiring to bed.
"So Whiz-kid, you got any more books for me?" McKenzie asked.
"Yes actually. You left that list on my desk this morning so I had Rosa run down to the library and grab them." Keith turned away from the computer and pushed his chair over to another desk on the other side of his bedroom. The rollers of the chair making an almost silent whisper as they ran over the cream carpet. He grabbed a rather large stack of books from the desk and wheeled over to McKenzie who sat up, crossed her legs and took them eargerly.
"The Outsiders Ailidh? Again?" Keith shook his head.
"I love that book, how can you not love that book!?" McKenzie laughed. "It's so heart-wrenching and it's so sweet!"
"What's this? Ailidh Gray has feelings?" Keith laughed and ducked just in time as a friendly swat came for his head. He pushed back to his computer. "I have no problem with S. E. Hinton's literacy, I just can't see the point in reading a book that you have memorized anyways." he shrugged.
"WEll, I see plenty of point to it." McKenzie said, she turned the pages of the book with a child like laugh. "Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, pefect you've got them all." she said, reading over the titles of just a few of the expansive pile. "Thanks Keith." she stood up and kissed the top of his head "I'll let you get back to your crazy Phsyics stuff." she laughed and opened the door and crept back into the hallway.
Keith listened closley for the slight creak of the floorboard in front of McKenzie's room and then the click of the doorhandle. As the noises met his ears he began to read again, pushing his glasses up once more and sipping at a cup of coffee he had sitting on a coaster by the mouse.
